Make America Great Again

Ever since Donald Trump became a Republican candidate, we've heard the expression Make America Great Again ( MAGA, #MAGA). I'd like to ask a simple question. What defines greatness? What defines American greatness? To do this we'll start by looking at a few statements from great Americans of the past. If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under - Ronald Reagan. Lets go further back. Back to the founding of this nation. Did the founding fathers agree? ....can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the Gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever. - Thomas Jefferson God governs in the affairs of man. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? We have been assured in the Sacred Writings that except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it. I firmly believe this. I also believe that, without His concurring aid, we shall succeed in this political building no better than the builders of Babel - Benjamin Franklin

And there we have it. Benjamin Franklin quoted Psalm 127:1. So without God and His hand keeping us, we as a nation would not survive. Don't believe me? What did God say to Israel? If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land - 2 Chronicles 7:14.

In light of this foundation, i'd like to remind you of what is happening in modern times. The wanton murder of the unborn has been going on for decades. Figures vary but even the low end of 60 Million is atronomical. Youth are flocking away from churches, the ACLU has driven God out of schools and government even though the idea of separation of church and state is not in the Constitution. The Constitution simply says that the government cannot require or enforce a religion. More specifically in these times I want to compare Donald Trump with the Bible. As we have seen, this country and nation are founded by those who believed in God and believed that if we forsook God, we as a nation could not survive. What has he said that we can submit into evidence?

- Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest -and you all know it! Please don't feel so stupid or insecure,it's not your fault - 8 May 2013 - I would like to extend my best wishes to all, even the haters and losers, on this special date, September 11th. - 11 Sep 2013 From August 2011 to November 2017 He used the word loser about 170 times. What does the Bible say? But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you - Matthew 5:44 Trump simply expresses time and again he has no respect for people and thinks quite highly of himself. What person would brag about their IQ and not be considered full of themselves? This is just utter pride. In fact he makes God out to be a liar I have great relationship with God. I have great relationship with the Evangelicals," Trump said in the interview before pivoting to his poll numbers among Evangelical voters. "I like to be good. I don't like to have to ask for forgiveness. And I am good. I don't do a lot of things that are bad. I try to do nothing that is bad. - January 2016 Lets deal with this two ways. Firstly by comparing this with another quote a month later Nobody reads the Bible more than me," Trump declared ahead of his third consecutive win in the GOP primary in the Nevada caucuses. Well then his mouth condemns him. For if this was true (though quite prideful again to brag about) he would know the following There is none righteous and our human righteousness are as filthy rags. He would also know that pride is one of the seven deadly sins mentioned in Proverbs. Christians from around the country, flocked to vote for this man and to this day both Christians and Conservatives get extremely upset and defensive if one dares to insult their president. Almost as if he has become their great leader and savior. I would like to address one more issue before I close. Trump vs the Constitution. I saved this for last as it's of secondary importance to that of his pride and rebellion against God. Donald Trump swore an oath of office. This we know and can verify through many, many sources. And yet he said in January 2016 of the land the Bureau of Land Management has and giving it back to the states 'I don't like the idea because I want to keep the lands great, and you don't know what the state is going to do' He talks like a socialist. It's better if the government controls it. Never mind that Article 1 Section 8 is very specific about what land the federal government is allowed to own. The fact is the Bureau of Land Management is wholly illegal and unconstitutional. There is more. Also unconstitutional is the Department of Education. Yet Trump nominated a person to run that illegal department. Worse he supports asset forfeiture without a conviction and in the same interview he thought it preposterous that a conviction would be required before taking a persons property and threatened to destroy the career of a senator that tried to curtail that government overreach. Making America Great Again requires one thing. A return to the Constitution and a return to the God that sustains this nation
